Online poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the different gamblers are given five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the house. After the bet is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

• Equal for a pair or high card
• 2-1 for 2 pairs
• three to one for three of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• 20-1 for a four of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
