Internet poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s value is akin to your original ante, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a sum equal to the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up money even with your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
