The descriptions below assume a familiarity aided by the general casino game play of poker, and with poker hands.
Play of the hand
Play starts with every player being dealt two cards face down. These are the player’s gap cards. These are the only cards every player will receive individually, and they will only (probably) be revealed on the showdown, making Holdem a closed poker game. The hands starts with a "pre-flop" wagering round, beginning with the player to the left of the huge blind (or the gambler to the left of the croupier, if no blinds are used) and continuing clockwise. Following the pre-flop wagering spherical, the dealer deals a burn card, adopted by three face-up neighborhood cards named the flop. The flop is adopted by a second wagering round. Wagering structures

The showdown
If a player wagers and all other gamblers fold, then the remaining gambler is awarded the pot and is not required to show his hole cards. On the showdown, every single player plays the perfect five-card hands he can generate from the 7 cards comprising his 2 hole cards and the board (the 5 group cards). A gambler might use both of his own 2 gap cards, only 1, or none at all, to kind his closing 5-card hand. If the five group cards form the gambler’s greatest hands, then the player is said to be betting the board.
